American Family Children's Hospital Ranked Among Top 50 Pediatric Hospitals

Madison, Wisconsin - American Family Children's Hospital is ranked among the nation's top 50 pediatric hospitals in four medical and surgical specialties, according to this year's U.S. News & World Report rankings of children's hospitals.

The hospital is ranked among the top 50 children's hospitals in the following specialties:

For the 2014-15 rankings, U.S. News surveyed 183 pediatric centers to obtain clinical data in 10 specialties and asked 150 pediatric specialists in each specialty where they would send the sickest children.

This is the fourth consecutive year American Family Children's Hospital has been ranked in the U.S. News Best Children's Hospitals list.

American Family Children's Hospital, which opened in August 2007, offers a comforting setting to enhance the healing process for patients and their families. American Family Children's Hospital is part of University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, which has also been ranked by U.S. News & World Report every year since 1993 and has been the recipient of several national safety and quality recognition honors.
