Kids With Courage 5 Celebrates Childhood Cancer Patients
Madison, Wisconsin - About 800 childhood cancer survivors, siblings and parents came together under one roof on September 29, 2013, at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells for the fifth Kids With Courage reunion.
Held every five years since 1993, Kids With Courage is an event filled with fun, entertainment, education and emotion. Supermodel Cindy Crawford, whose little brother Jeff died of leukemia in 1975 at UW Children’s Hospital, is the honorary chair of Kids With Courage and inspires all in attendance with her kindness and generous support.
Every child who has been treated for cancer at American Family Children’s Hospital (or the former UW Children’s Hospital) is invited to Kids With Courage, and all courageous kids are honored, including those who did not survive their diseases.
