Pediatric Audiology experts at UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin understand that evaluating the hearing of small children is very different from evaluating the hearing older children and adults.

Our audiologists use games and toys to test the hearing of children as young as eight to 10 months old. Specialized tests are often used for children who are younger than eight to 10 months old. Hearing can also be evaluated with the use of otoacoustic emissions or auditory brainstem response threshold testing.

We offer individualized attention to all of our pediatric hearing aid patients. Patients go directly to UW Health audiologists for all of their hearing aid needs, including fitting and evaluation, repairs and earmold impressions.
