Our hope is that our patients and their families check out the opportunities for fun, socializing, resources and support.
Gilda's Club opened in Madison a year ago to meet the needs of all people who are touched by cancer. It is a warm, welcoming clubhouse where all kinds of people come together to "build social and emotional support as a supplement to medical care."
Membership is free and the staff is open to the special kind of energy that teens and young adults have. They are hosting some great summer events just for this age group.
Gilda's Club Summer Events Just for Teens
- July 23: New member meeting, 5:30-7pm
- July 29: Kids Water Games, 6-7:30pm
- August 21: Teen Shut-In, 7-10pm
