Hemophilia and Other Bleeding Disorders (pdf)

The pediatric team at American Family Children's Hospital's Comprehensive Program for Bleeding Disorders is made up of hematologists, nurse specialists, social workers, physical therapists and geneticists. Taking a multi-faceted approach, specialists work with patients, family members and primary care providers to develop a plan for care.

In addition, pediatric specialists in orthopedics, dental care, gastroenterology, surgery and infectious diseases who are familiar with the needs of the hemophilia population are readily available for consultation and referrals.
