What are disorders of sex development?

Sex development means the progression of the physical parts of your bodies that have to do with gender - being male or female. Puberty - when a child's body changes to that of a sexually mature man or woman - may be the most obvious, but sex development starts at the moment of conception and continues through late adulthood.
