PCOS affects 6-10 percent of women and may affect a similar percentage of adolescent and young women. Patients with this condition may see our clinic staff for:

  • Evaluation and treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome, including development of a treatment plan that addresses proper medication, healthy diet and exercise.
  • Evaluation and treatment of the young patient with PCOS, with input from the pediatric endocrinologist, pediatric gynecologist, dietician, health psychologist and endocrine nurse specialist. Treatment plans may include dietary modifications, exercise prescriptions and/or medication.
