Jennifer Shafer, MD

About

Jennifer Shafer, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

She cares for patients from birth to old age. Dr. Shafer treats a variety of conditions, including colds, flu, diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

Dr. Shafer’s clinical interest is women’s health and pediatrics. Her care philosophy is to partner with patients to meet their goals.

In her free time, Dr. Shafer enjoys traveling, writing and performing poetry, attending poetry slams and spending time with her family.

I enjoy building and maintaining long-term relationships with patients and seeing the same families as they grow.
