Kathleen Wilkinson, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in bariatric surgery. Kathleen cares for patients who are having bariatric (weight management) procedures to treat severe obesity, metabolic or genetic disorders and related health challenges.

As part of a multispecialty team and member of the bariatric weight-loss program, Kathleen sees patients considering surgical solutions such as gastric bypass surgery and sleeve gastrectomy for weight management. She provides pre- and post-operative care and addresses questions and concerns before and after surgery.

Kathleen’s holistic approach to care focuses on general health and well-being. She evaluates her patients’ symptoms, conditions or complications and helps them find resources and solutions to meet their goals. She also addresses related health issues such as diabetes, sleep apnea, heart disease and cancer or cancer risks. Her goal for every patient is to improve their overall health and quality of life.

In her free time, Kathleen enjoys baking, canning, gardening, knitting, quilting and being a soccer referee.
