About

Kimberly Fleischmann, PhD, is a UW Health health psychologist.

Kimberly primarily works with bariatric surgery patients, helping them with lifestyle changes that make it easier to manage new and existing health conditions. While weight management is a key focus, she also works to help patients overcome barriers to achieving their health goals.

Knowing that every person is unique, Kimberly encourages patients to talk about their personal experiences during their weight loss journey. She wants to know what has worked for them and what hasn’t, what they hope to achieve and their motivation for losing weight. She then partners with them to develop personalized strategies for success.

Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with family, traveling and being active outdoors, either hiking or running.

I strive to help patients develop healthy habits they can use for the rest of their lives.
