Kristin Schmiedlin, AuD, CCA-A is a UW Health clinical audiologist. She specializes in evaluating and treating patients of all ages with a variety of hearing disorders.

Kristin uses advanced technologies, equipment and techniques to test patients’ hearing, diagnose hearing loss and recommend individualized solutions. She answers questions, educates patients and families, and addresses their personal concerns and goals. Her services also include fitting patients with hearing aids or other devices as needed. She provides them with instruction and guidance as they adjust to and become comfortable with the devices and device capabilities.

Kristen’s expertise includes pediatric audiology. When working with children and adolescents, she uses a combination of compassion and simple language to address their specific needs and level of understanding. Her goal with all patients is to improve their ability to hear, understand and communicate, and enjoy a better quality of life through enhanced hearing.

In her free time, Kristin enjoys hiking, birding, listening to music and cooking.

It’s rewarding to help children, teens and adults with their hearing challenges and see them enjoy a better quality of life through enhanced hearing and communication.
