About

Laura Ganske, PT, is a UW Health physical therapist. She works with patients experiencing pain or functional limitations due to various orthopedic (affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles) and spinal conditions and injuries as well as female pelvic floor conditions.

With a doctorate in physical therapy, Laura specializes in neck, middle and lower back, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle disorders. She also evaluates and treats female pelvic floor disorders and related symptoms caused by weakened or injured pelvic muscles and tissues after childbirth or other types of stress. Urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse (sagging organs or muscles) and disorders before and after childbirth are among the many pelvic floor conditions she treats.

With each condition or challenge, Laura takes a patient-centered approach to treatment. She partners with patients to teach them how to manage pain and improve their ability to function. She combines education with exercise and hands-on therapies, including dry needling to ease muscle pain, for long-term success.

I empower patients and give them the tools they need for lifelong symptom management.
