Child Injury Prevention

Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death among children 14 years of age or younger. Each year, more than 5,600 children in this age range die in the United States, and more than 120,000 become disabled from unintentional injuries.

Through its Safety and Child Health Advocacy efforts, American Family Children's Hospital seeks to eliminate unintentional childhood injuries and keep children safe and healthy.
