Phillip Phillips to Perform at American Family Children's Hospital Gala

Madison, Wisconsin - Phillip Phillips will perform at the “Raise the Roof” gala for American Family Children’s Hospital. Hosted by Friends of UW Hospital and Clinics, the event will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2014 beginning at 5:30pm at Monona Terrace Convention Center. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Children's Hospital Sick Kids Can’t Wait campaign.
Phillip Phillips is a singer-songwriter known as the winner of the eleventh season of American Idol. His coronation song, “Home”, released after his win, became the best-selling of all coronation songs. His debut album “The World from the Side of the Moon” featuring U.S. Billboard 100 number one hits such as “Home” and “Gone Gone Gone” was released in November 2012. His album has been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Phillip Phillips appearance is sponsored by American Family Insurance. Mr. Phillips’ songs, “Home” and “Gone Gone Gone” are featured in advertising for the Madison-based insurance company.
