Santa Goes High-tech for American Family Children's Hospital Patients
Madison, Wisconsin - Santa will make virtual visits from the North Pole to patients in their rooms at American Family Children’s Hospital on December 10.
Through the magic of an iPad and technology from Cisco, Santa will visit every patient who wants one.
Cisco’s “Santa Connection Program” enables hospitalized children to remotely connect and communicate with Santa at the North Pole using video collaboration technologies.
Last year, more than 2,700 children at hospitals across the nation, including American Family Children’s Hospital, shared their wishes directly with Santa using Cisco TelePresence mobile carts and Jabber, which allows children to use devices with web-enabled cameras to connect with Santa remotely by video.
