'Tour de Touchdown' Bike Ride Benefits American Family Children's Hospital

They will take turns riding a bicycle to raise money for American Family Children's Hospital as part of Sigma Phi Epsilon's 18th annual Tour De Touchdown.
The Journey
The bicyclists will begin leaving the fraternity house at 8am Thursday to embark on the 368-mile journey. Along the way, they will carry a football autographed by head coach Bret Bielema. Other fraternity members will travel close-by in a motor vehicle and offer moral support.
This year's bicyclists will include a number of Wisconsin natives, including Brian Schneider of Madison, Ryan Sawall of Menomonee Falls, Jake Russart of Milwaukee, Sam Winters of Pittsville, Brian Allen and Geoff Gerschke of Appleton, and Jed Voss of Green Bay.
Other riders come from California, Minnesota, Michigan and Massachusetts.
Tour De Touchdown has generated more than $110,000 for American Family Children's Hospital Child Life programs, which include playtime activities and other events to reduce the stress of hospitalization for patients and their families. Sigma Phi Epsilon is raising pledges door-to-door, on-line and through local businesses.
