Shopping List:
Banana
Vanilla low-fat yogurt
Granola
Fresh blueberries
Fresh raspberries
Ground cinnamon or nutmeg
 
1 small ripe banana
1/2 c. vanilla low-fat yogurt
1/2 c. granola
1/4 c. fresh blueberries
1/4 c. fresh raspberries
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon or nutmeg
Cut banana in half lengthwise; place in cereal bowl.
 
Top with yogurt, granola, blueberries and raspberries.
 
Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.

TIP:

In the winter, you can use frozen berries and throw all the ingredients in a blender for a smoothie, which make a great meal in the car.

This makes a balanced meal because it combines protein (yogurt), grains (granola) and fruit.
