Seasonal Salad Bar

Ingredients
Romaine lettuce, chopped
Spinach leaves
Grape tomatoes, halved
Cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
Assorted bell peppers, chopped
Green onions, sliced
Kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Low-fat cheese, shredded
Left over skinless chicken or turkey, chopped
Fresh herbs (parsley, oregano, basil, dill, etc.), chopped
  • Wash and prepare vegetables as directed.
  • Set all ingredients out in separate bowls.
  • Allow child to build their salad as they see fit.
