Seasonal Salad Bar
Romaine lettuce, chopped
Grape tomatoes, halved
Cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
Assorted bell peppers, chopped
Green onions, sliced
Kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Low-fat cheese, shredded
Left over skinless chicken or turkey, chopped
Fresh herbs (parsley, oregano, basil, dill, etc.), chopped
- Wash and prepare vegetables as directed.
- Set all ingredients out in separate bowls.
- Allow child to build their salad as they see fit.
