For Referring Providers
In our Pediatric Preventive Cardiology Clinic (PPCC) at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, we specialize in the care of children with risk factors for early heart disease, with special attention to abnormal cholesterol.
Our team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, nutritionists and medical assistants. We seek to reduce or eliminate risk factors in children in order to prevent heart disease in adulthood. We use nutrition, physical activity, tobacco cessation and medical treatment of severely high cholesterol, if needed.
